On the afternoon of December 30,the 2024 meeting on school-enterprise integration and coordinated developmentin the Yangtze River Delta of the Institute of Energy and Materials was held inConference Room 210, Building 28. Representatives and partners from more thanten enterprises including Shanghai Jinqiao Group, Shanghai Tianyue IndustryCo., Ltd. and Hangzhou Yuanpai Science & Technology Co., Ltd. attended themeeting and visited the experiment building.

       ChenYong, Party Secretary of the Institute of Energy and Materials, extended a warmwelcome to all business representatives and partners. He said that theuniversity aims at cultivating application-oriented talents, deepenscooperation between schools and enterprises, promotes regional technologicalinnovation, integrates production and education, and fosters education in acoordinated way, and hopes that enterprises will actively come to theuniversity to communicate their R & D needs. Select suitable talents,negotiate on cooperation between enterprises and universities, and jointlypromote technological progress and social development.

Yu Wei gave an introduction to thecollege from the aspects of its development history, school-running objectives,development characteristics and specialty setup. Then, the main researchdirection, the achievements and the progress of the research are introduced byexplaining the practical examples of the production, learning and research ofthe college.

Afterwards, the representatives ofthe participating enterprises introduced the industrial development situation,core development direction, product characteristics, application fields, andmajor technologies and market demands of their companies. And around thetechnical difficulties encountered at present, carried on a warm exchange anddiscussion. Participants said that through the school's matchmaking, forschools, enterprises, teachers and R & D staff to build a communicationplatform. The meeting enhanced the mutual understanding between the school andthe enterprise, and provided strong support for the cooperative development of projects,resource sharing, integrated development of schools and localities andtransformation of achievements in the future.
